The 37th Hong Kong Film Awards Presentation Ceremony was held last night.  The red carpet was full of superstars.  With a white and black tie, Andy’s appearance was smart and handsome.

Philip Keung won the Supporting Actor Award in the Hong Kong Film Awards with Shock Wave.  He showed his gratefulness to Andy, the leading actor of Shock Wave.  Andy and Gigi Leung presented the Best Director Award to Ann Hui.

Andy Lau should be proud of what he has achieved so far. During his 30 year career, he's won well over 200 awards! If the HK Film Awards is the equivalent to USA's Academy Awards, then he's right up there with actors Marlon Brando, Robert Deniro, Tom Hanks & Denzel Washington. Not only do I admire Mr. Lau for his multi-talented abilities but applaud his tireless efforts to bring back HK cinema to the forefront. And that is nothing to scoff at!
