giving warm knit activity
Andy World Club started “giving warm knit activity” that give knitting to St. James’s settlement last year, so this is the second year to hold this activity. As a result of everybody’s continuous joint efforts for the past 1 month, a total of more than 500 hundred humane gifts, scarves and winter caps, were given to elderly people and people in need in the community.
Although it was the first time for me to join this activity, I felt this activity was very meaningful; I remember that elderly people’s face shone with delight as their representative received our “gifts”. They put them on right away and praised us highly that we are very eager in helping others!!
Actually, sparing a little bit of your private time, and giving small presents can make them this happy. Here I hope everybody will continue supporting same kind of activities, and show the sprit of [family] and group, and make every elderly people and every beneficiary feel that Andy World Club care for them with warmth. Giving is always happier than receiving! Everybody, let’s continue supporting this activity next year!
