刘德华在接受采访时前段时间去灾区慰问，去得很对，在灾区被孩子们的坚强感动。虽然舍不得火炬，火炬是他最宝贵的礼物，是一辈子的承诺，但是把火炬捐献给孩子们，就代表对他们一辈子的承诺，和他们在一起，最后，他送给灾区孩子们一句话：有你有我,请放心。

亲爱的老大，真的真的明白了你的承诺，一辈子的承诺!!!
你所做的一切，家人为之震撼!!!

老大：
聽說要捐火炬的時候，多多少少也和大家一樣有點難過...但是知道老大一向擇善固執，你決定的事很難去改變，只能支持你。沒想到老大還是標了另一個火炬回來，一來也是為了賑災，二來也是因為我們吧！雖然意義不同，但是我們都知道你是疼我們的，不想讓我們失望。

老大~你真的很棒！！！

Dear Andy,

I just read about you donating your Olympic torch for the auction to benefit the education in Sichuan province. I know how much that torch and carrying it through Hong Kong meant to you. I believe you feel the pain and sorrow of the earthquake victims deep within the core of your being. There are very few people in this world who would sacrifice as much as you do for people in need. The fact that you can rally so many artistes on such short notice speaks for itself.

It seems like it was just the other day you were so happy to be carrying the Olympic torch through the streets of Hong Kong. Your smile was from ear to ear, you were calm, rested and planning your next projects . . . and suddenly, with a terrifying swiftness, Mother Nature turned that beautiful, happy smile upside down. Your smile is gone, all your time and energy are now focused on helping the victims of the earthquake. Your selfless compassion is truly an inspiration and you are someone to be emulated.

At first I was worried about you going to Sichuan province, but now I think it was a good thing. You were able to bring some respite to the victims, soldiers, rescue workers and volunteers. The photos of you wiping the food and sweat away from that granny's face showed the world what a truly great person you are. If you can make the people there forget their pain and suffering even for a moment, then the trip was worth it.

This trip to Sichuan province could be the start of the healing process - not just for the survivors of the earthquake, but also for you. I pray that is the case - because we need to see that beautiful smile of yours again.
