宝贝老大，九月我已经决定要去香港看您了哦，这两天超级兴奋了，和亲爱的家人们正计划着去香港的情况，哈哈哈，最搞笑的就是我们还准备今天就去定机票的，后来一想，现在定机票未免也太早了点，我们还是淡定一下，等过段时间再定也不迟，嘻嘻！老大，我和家人上网去聊天了哦，您要照顾好自己哦，晚上早点休息，想你！

Yummy... handsome 老大 munching tasty water melons... what a mouth-watering sight. :D
Is it just me or is it getting even hotter in here? :p

I could use some water melons myself right now to help me cool down. We're currently also having a heat-wave over here in Germany. This week has been the hottest week of the year so far. Yesterday, the temperatures have risen to an unbearable 39°C. Everyone at work is suffering from the heat and it's kind of hard to concentrate on work at all. We're not really used to such high temperatures in Germany... all ventilators have sold out.
The heat plus the long working hours start taking their toll on me, I feel drained and exhausted most of the time. There are days when I could fall asleep while standing upright. :p

I've decided to stay at home today cause it's just way too hot outside to do anything and since I had to work all day yesterday I'm quite grateful to spent a quiet and lazy day at home. Later tonight I will probably watch the WORLD CUP final match. Unfortunately, Germany didn't make it to the final match. But even though we lost the match against Spain I'm nevertheless very proud of our team. They fought hard and did very well in this WORLD CUP. Our nation can indeed be very proud to have such a great football team. For me they will always be the best team with or without the 'Cup'.
At least we once more made the 3rd place and that's also something to be very proud of. I'm happy that our team gathered all their strengths one more time to win this last match. I can only imagine how physically and emotionally exhausted they must have felt after the lost semi-final match. One could clearly see how very disappointed our players were losing that match. Though it's certainly not a shame to lose against such an excellent team as Spain who played a brilliant match and deservedly won.
OK so we didn't quite make it this year, but hey, there's another chance in 2014. But first it's the European Championship in 2012. ;)

Alright my Love... I wish You a pleasant Sunday evening. I truly hope that You can handle the heat much better than me. Please take good care of Yourself and eat some more water melons to keep cool. :cool:

it's me again. I just checked the AWC notice board for news and I read that Your Birthday party this year is scheduled for 25th September. Woohoo!!! That's just such wonderful news. You can't even imagine how very happy You just made me. I'm totally over the moon. This fully compensates for the lost semi-final match. *does the happy dance* http://static.home-of-smilies.de/smi...miley_2253.gif

I was feeling so sad cause I thought that due to my work schedule I wouldn't be able to attend Your Birthday party this year and thus wouldn't get to meet You. But since You scheduled Your Birthday Party for 25th September I should be able to travel to HK around that time. And if all works well I could also watch 'Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame' on the big screen while being in HK. ;) Wow! I couldn't possibly ask for a better birthday gift!!!

One more note about that psychic Octopus Paul. Now that Germany has won the third place as predicted by Paul... the German fans are a bit more forgiving towards him.

After Octopus Paul predicted that Spain would win the semi-final match against Germany and in the end we indeed did lose the match... some German fans threatened to get Paul and fry him. :p

Poor Paul! Although I was sad that we lost against Spain and although I love seafood particularly dried or fried squid (yummy)... I say let Paul live!
But his predictions for WORLD CUP 2014 should better see Germany winning the 'Cup' or else the frying pan is waiting for him. :p
