Hello Darling ♥ 老大 ♥

Guess what!? I just sent in my application for Your Birthday party. Woohoo! I can't even put into words how happy and excited I am to see You in September. :D

This will be my very first trip to HK and I'm already eagerly planning which places I'd like to see and visit while being there. Unfortunately, I'll be leaving HK already on 09-28 which means I will miss the release of "Detective Dee". :( Silly me assumed that the film will release on 09-23... d'oh!!!
I tried to change my flight but since it's a special offer it's not possible to do so, I'd have to book another flight and buy a 'new' ticket which I can't quite afford at the moment :o... still hoping for that lottery jackpot... 哈哈! :p

I'm very sorry... I so would have loved to watch and support Your new film while being in HK. Oh well... I still hope that "Detective Dee" will also release over here in Germany, the chances aren't too bad. I just read that Your film was nominated in the 67th Venice International Film Festival... congratulations, that's such wonderful news. Keeping fingers crossed that it will win the 'Golden Lion'.

Speaking of wonderful news... I just found out that "Gallants" 「打擂台」 will be shown at this year's Fantasy Filmfest in September. Hooray! Actually, I was secretly hoping that they would show "Detective Dee" that's why I checked the FFF website.
Unfortunately, no "Detective Dee", but at least I finally get to see "Gallants" 「打擂台」 on the big screen. Yessss!!!

P.P.S.: Last week I watched "Wait 'til You're Older" (I so love that film, it's one of my faves) on the train on my way to work and I couldn't help but to cry like a baby (as I always do), especially at the end of the film... other passengers on the train surely saw me crying thinking what's wrong with her... 哈哈! :p
