Andy and Louis were participating in the intensive promotion campaigns for ‘The White Storm 2 – Drug Lords’ which will release on 16th July. It is the forth time for them to participate in a movie together. Andy and Louis acted together in ‘Century of the Dragon’ in 1999, ‘Fat Choi Spirit’ in 2002 and ‘Protégé’ in 2007. More than a decade later, they are having a new movie again. It is also the first movie of Andy participated since his injury. ‘While shooting, there is a shot mentioning me running up to chase my son. The Director, Herman Yau, stopped me climbing along the staircases. Actually, I have been taking rest for one year. He was really worrying about me.’

The scene of Andy cutting Louis’ finger is especially unforgettable to Louis. ‘ Andy followed the leader’s instruction in the movie. I didn’t do anything wrong but everyone misunderstood me. That’s why I did it and even be the strongest one. The role is similar to my personality. My father blamed my poor academic performance. I worked hard and performed better than he expected.’

Apart from the excited action scene, Louis got lots of bikini girls serving him in the movie. It made him extremely embarrassed. ‘My role is a lusty guy. To be less offensive, I decided to dance with them instead of touching them.’ Andy mentioned that Louis’ eyes were full of embarrassment. Louis said, ‘I’d rather doing action sence. It is dangerous and complicated with so many sexy girls around. I have to finish the shot in one take and proceed to the next shot.’

Louis recorded the movie theme song. He described it as a song which is easy to sing along.

Love to sit while singing
Andy and Louis recorded the movie theme song at the studio. They recorded separately but Andy also visited the studio while Louis was recording. Being asked if Louis felt nervous due to Andy’s participation, Louis said, ‘It’s ok! I can’t sing well. That’s why I don’t feel nervous.’ He mentioned that he has a habit in the studio. He preferred to sit while singing instead of standing. It is because he used to sit while singing karaoke. It is uncomfortable for him to stand and sing. I don’t prefer listening to my song after recording. When I heard of my voice from the TV at home, I usually run away.’ Andy said, ‘I do not watch the playback while shooting. I just worry that I am not satisfied with my face and will fix it.’ He also mentioned that Louis was serious while singing. He encouraged Louis to sing more, ‘You will be the next wave of canton pop!’ Louis said, ‘To destroy the wave?’ Everyone laughed.
