Greeting Andy was one of the most anticipated events in Lunar New Year. Although he only got a short holiday, he still spent time with us. He always spoils us! The Gathering was held in the afternoon so that family members could have their first New Year meal at home before visiting this second home and greetings with Andy.
Although this was my 5th year joining the New Year Gathering, I was excited. When I stepped into Fan Club, it was already filled with New Year’s atmosphere and family members were greeting each others. We all sat on the floor awaiting the appearance of the main guest …. There came Andy who was in trendy clothes, meanwhile cheers and applauses were filled the room as if there were a concert. Andy was leaned on the door, setting himself an alluring pose, humorously accepting our cheers！ Afterwards, Andy sent his greetings to all, wished our dreams came true and with good Health, and have a baby soon … hahaha! In return, we wished him to have a baby too, hahaha! The room was filled with laughter!
Then came a game named “Lucky Number”. Each person was requested to hold a HK$20 note on hand. Andy started to draw out six numbers one by one. These numbers matched those on the bank note would win the game. Finally, there were 3 winners who received a prize from Andy.
Afterwards, Andy sat down and chatted with us. He was asked if he had made a New Year profit. He replied with laugh that he only watched film “Fat Choi Spirit” at home. He told us to watch “Shaolin” again and we were happy to follow his instruction. Immediate after the concerts at HK Coliseum, Andy continued with the promotions films “Shaolin” and “What women want” in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. However, members were worried that Andy would be worn out and prompted him to take more rest. Obediently, Andy promised us. He mentioned that he has been taking part in a new movie shooting directed by Ann Hui. Other questions including the releasing of his concert DVD, concert tours etc. Andy was so humorous throughout the talk that we couldn’t help laughing. Because of our happiness, Andy couldn’t resist laughing, too.
Lastly, Andy distributed red packets to us while the married family members gave him red packets too. What a heartfelt moment!
Because of the greetings from Andy, we surely would always be happy in the year of the Rabbit!
