Does everybody remember “Time Capsule” activity held 5 years ago (5 July 2002) when Andy released Mandarin Album, “Mei li de yi tian”? People wrote message, recipients name and entrust Andy to send out the letter in the future. In the blink of an eye, the time that Andy promised us had come. When “Time Capsule” activity was promoted, it aroused a great response, many people who were moved deeply by “Time Capsule” story, telephoned and sent letter to us to express their wish to support this meaningful activity. Except for writing letter to friends or family members, they could write letter to themselves or to Andy to be opened 5 years from that time. Soon Andy’s company received tens of thousands letters, Andy company staff need to change chemical for dehumidifiers, inspect carefully now and then at Andy’s company in Taiwan. Andy has concerned about it every year. 5 years have passed. 5 July this year is the promised time when “Time Capsule” will be sent out. When Andy visited Taiwan in the end of May for pre-production and shooting of MV of new Mandarin album, he said he needs to go to his company to see the letter of Time capsule. When Andy tidy up letters at the company, he found that many fans not only wrote letter to him, but also wrote letter to his mother too, and many people wrote letter to other artists too. Andy said with laugh. “I really want to know what fans wrote to my mom, do they thank to my mom for giving birth to such an excellent son? Ha ha ha! There are letters to many singers, it past 5 years only, but many singers have changed their record company, as to myself is not so bad, because as everybody knows! I have a son now, ha ha ha!” Andy took his son, Andox, out with smile on his face. Andox is a doll hand sewn by him. He shows Andox the operation of Time Capsule. “My son has English name, Andox, only, I cordially invite everyone to give him Chinese name at awc618.com” Andy added.At the moment, Andy is shooting a movie in Hong Kong. He will release new Mandarin album in summer vacation, in the middle of July. And then, world concert tour etc will be held. Andy says “The style of the new album will be really different, and having many new attempts too. When the first song, “Mu di”, means reed pipe, was released, I saw many fans message on website says they like the song and the pictures in the MV. I have already brought these pictures back, later when I have time, I will talk about the story on awc618.com” “In conjunction with Mandarin album promotion, I will go to Taiwan to meet Taiwanese fans in the middle of July, hope everybody will like and support this new Mandarin album.” Andy says happily.
