Plot
In 2080, in an unnamed Asian metropolis, cyborg terrorists attempt to assassinate Professor Ma on the tenth anniversary of his energy-saving Solar Canopy but are defeated by the cyborg cop Zhou Zhihao (Andy Lau)and Zhou’s wife,Meili (Fan Bingbing), unfortunately she is then killed.
The terrorist leader Kalong and his wife Feina manage to escape .The terrorists party stole the top secret information and transformed Karon and his wife Feina into the ultimate killing tool. They want to go back and kill the young Dr. Ma in an attempt to change the future. In order to protect Dr. Ma, Zhou was transformed into a super soldier. He returned to 2020 with his daughter Qi Qi (Xu Jiaoshi) to find and protect the 12-year-old Dr. Ma.

Zhou posing as a traffic cop , and gets the help of a policewoman Wang Xue’e (Barbie Shu), who falls in love with him, they together chase after the terrorist couple …..
