The annual ceremony of the Hong Kong movie industry, the 37th Hong Kong File Awards, was held in 15 April. ‘Shock Wave’ and ‘Chasing the Dragon’ were being nominated for different awards. Andy was nominated as the Best Actor in the film, ‘Shock Wave’. AWC has purposely arranged a cheering and celebration session at the head quarter for support Andy and his nominated films.
Live broadcast of the award presentation ceremony was being projected on the large screen at the function room. Comfortable sofas were also available. Many of the members watched the ceremony and enjoyed dinner together. Once Andy appeared on the screen, every one screamed. Our excitement in the head quarter was just as eager as in the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.
Although the Best Actor Award was not presented to Andy as we expected, OUR Best Actor returned to the AWC head quarter immediate after the ceremony and shared with us his thoughts. It was really amiable.
Andy is a gift for us. We are proud of you. Our support to Andy is always continuous.
