After by three and a half years, I really haven’t seen Andy for a long time in Japan! In mid-June, my heart kept throbbing when I knew the news of the Gathering. Although I fell in love with Andy for over 10 years, I was the most excited this time because I thought he must have changed a lot in these years. So… did his “change” influence me? Therefore, this activity is of great significance to me.
On the day, after having lunch with friends, I went to the venue. I greeted those acquaintance members as usual, and believed that no one would hear my heart-beat!
My seat was in the middle of the third line. Such a good position that my heart-beat kept increasing!
Andy, with a great smile, came from the far end of the hall, passed through the middle of the hall to the stage. When Andy was passing me, I gave him a High-five. I was so happy! I was so happy that it seemed that my heart jumped out from the mouth! Andy first apologized for not been visiting Japan for a long time. As he spends of his time in Hong Kong, he reminded all Japanese member to take care. Immediately, the hall was filled with laughter. While Andy seemed have had some weight, but he was still full of energy and with attractive eyes … everyone was staring at this handsome Andy.
The Gathering consisted of game, Q & A session, photo-taking and mini-concert. In the Q&A session, there were two impressive questions : One question was about Andy’s new movie “I know a woman’s heart” – “Andy, if you understand the hearts of women, what would happen?” Andy’s answer was “Understand one woman is sufficient. It’s no use to understand more about other women because I can’t help”. I thought his answer contained lot of meanings. Another question is “idol Andy Lau’s in the future” … He promised that even when he’s in his sixties or seventies, he would not change, i.e. the same as the one in now!
Next part, photo-taking, was exciting. Although we discussed the pose before our turn, my mind was blank when I looked at Andy’s eyes. Even I couldn’t remember if I had shook hands with Andy. What could I do with his super handsome guy? After this session, Andy and we sang [Always remember you]. Since Andy sings this song in concerts every time, so he reminded us to memorise it. He then sang [Seventeen], [Too much to Love], [Life-time Partner], [Applauses], [I Wish], [I hate I’m Silly], [Love you a thousand-year]. Listening live songs is the best!
Participating in events organized by AWC, we always feel Andy’s heart-felt words. Meeting up with Andy, we are always full of spirit and feeling lucky. Andy did not change neither did we. Andy…we hope that you are always on our side, we always support you.
Last but not the least, we are very grateful to AWC for holding this Gathering.
