It was a beautiful spring day on April 17. Andy was busy having film shooting, 《New Shaolin Temple》, in Hengdian World Studios. However, he squeezed time to join the Gathering in Hengdian International Conference Center Hotel where he met over 70 old and new members. It was the “Hand in Hand Party 2010”.
The year, we broke the tradition of having the party in Hong Kong. Instead, the Mainland China was chosen because it has reached the highest member growth rate among other countries.
As we all know, Andy loves all members and on the day, he treated the family members a big feast with different cuisines. Thanks for his warm hospitality.
The party kicked off with a video introducing our Hong Kong Head Office followed by Fan Club manager, Maggie introducing staff from Taiwan, Shanghai and so forth, and hoping to provide a better service for family members.
With Andy’s sudden appearance, all members were excited. He immediately hosted a Memory game. One representative from each table to answer questions which related to the previously video. The game finished in a lively atmosphere. Then came a representative member presenting a cheque donation to help the mainland family members who has been suffering from a disaster. Their overflowing love really touched Andy.
The biggest surprise to everybody was the photo-taking time with Andy and each of them cherished such precious chance.
Another exciting time was big Brother approaching each table in turn to chat and listen to member’s heartfelt wishes and cheers. Loads of laughter filled the hall. They sat closely, talked, drank, toasted and hugged. What an impression of a real family!! No sooner, the party ended in such harmonious and heart-warming atmosphere.
Thanks to Andy and Fan Club for holding this perfect and unforgettable party. We, as family members, support you forever!
