[Track]‘A Simple Life’ Premiere in Hong Kong
The movie ‘A Simple Life’, which has won lots of awards from international and Hong Kong Film Festival, was finally shown in public on 9th March in Hong Kong. The Film Company held a Premiere in Central IFC where it was sparkling in every corner and the atmosphere was really lively.
Andy talked about the destiny of cooperating with Ann Hui, he said: ‘The very first time I smoked has to date back to the time when I was filming for the movie ‘Boat People’ and that was directed by Ms Ann Hui as well.’ Andy was being asked if he would cry when he watch the movie ‘A Simple Life’. Then he replied: ‘People become easier to cry when they grow up. So, I turn to be more relaxed though.’ Previously, the mass media revealed that Andy was a ‘neat freak’ and he admitted publicly: ‘I love being neat and tidy very much. Sometimes, when I spotted that the picture on the wall was hanged slightly not straight enough, I would feel very uncomfortable; also when the piles of clothes were put lopsided, I must fix them well.’ Deanie heard that then immediately shared her special ways of folding clothes with Andy and also promised to teach Andy the best way of folding clothes. She continued and made a joke that: ‘Thus, it is always a very hard job for Andy‘s maids.’
Andy and Deanie knew each other pretty well since they cooperated again after few years. Deanie praised Andy who always maintains a muscular body and has a really good body shape; whereas Andy commented that she deserved all the prizes and award for her great performance. Lastly, director Ann Hui was kidding around and said: ‘Andy is a person who can hide everything in front of people, no matter what he likes and what he doesn’t. But, I am very sure he cannot hide that he likes Deanie Ip among all the people on site.’
