It is the 26th Anniversary of Andy World Club establishment this year. Coinciding with the 2014 World Cup, “ANDY WORLD CLUB” was particularly used as the Party theme. It took place at the Star Hall of the Kowloon Bay International Trade & Exhibition Centre where the venue was decorated as a small football field with four-side stage. It shortened the distance between the auditorium and the stage that. made us indeed very excited!
Ten-year Oldies, Twenty-year Seniors, Ten-year and Twenty-year volunteers, who love Andy and support AWC for decades, firstly entered the field accompanied by the cheering team to kick off the Party. Then followed by Andy led guests to the stage that boosted up the atmosphere. All people stood up during the Opening Ceremony and the flag raising song was adapted from “獻給你”. This really gave us an overwhelming feeling.
A series of football games was played in the Party and audience were devoted in cheering for the participate teams. Andy’s charm made the audiences forgot scoring! Watching Andy’s brilliant performance was far more enough regardless the outcome. Next game was live-action table soccer, Andy led the AWC staff team versus the Celebrities team. It was fascinating to see Andy trying his best to give a shot! He was not only an excellent striker but also a role-model captain. Not to be outdone by the Staff team, the Celebrities team also involved much into the game. . The competition was so exciting and very much like a real soccer match. All members cheered for the players that led the atmosphere even more fervent. After the live-action table soccer, the goal-keeper exhibition followed. Andy put on the goalkeeper gloves which could show off his handsome and retrieving a number of dangerous ball proved his skills.
Andy celebrates his father’s birthday every year and so as this year. He trolley out a birthday cake and led the audience to sing a birthday song together for him. Andy’s father was so happy with a big smile. Besides that, there was a hand-made handicraft birthday cake with a huge soccer on top. Bright and sharp colors made the cake looked more outstanding.
At last, it was the show time for Andy to sing and dance that made atmosphere of the Party boosted to the highest! Whenever Andy came close to the auditorium, fans cheered loudly. It was appreciated that Andy and all of the AWC staff brought us an unforgettable night!
