[Track]Andy Performed at the Charity Show and Sobbed Several Times
A charity show organized by several satellite tv channels was held in Beijing. The show was to raise fund for the drought of Xinan. Many movie stars and singers were participated in the event to show their support. Andy is always passionate to attend the charity events. He got special leave to attend the charity activities from Hengdian. His shooting of <Shaolin> was being suspended because of this.
Andy was the first singer to perform in the show. The organizer arranged a meeting for Andy and the children from the disaster area. Knowing that the children had to save the clean drinking water for their family, Andy started to sob. When the children were listening to Andy’s <中國人>, recalling the hard times, everyone cried sadly. Andy talked to the MC afterwards, he sobbed and said, ‘The disaster is still serious. We hope every Chinese in the world can watch this charity show. We don’t know when will the drought end, but all Chinese people are connected with each other. We hoped that rain will come soon.’ Apart from performing in the show, Andy also helped pick up phone calls for donation. He got more than ten calls in around ten minutes. The most touching call was from a father and his two young children. Andy praised the children’s generosity and love to the victims. They were willing to donate all of their saving (around two thousand dollars) to support the rescue work.
