[Track]‘A Simple Life’ marked a new record of HK literary film and boosted filmmakers
Directed by Ann Hui, “A Simple Life” has caught the attention of audience since it screened in cinemas and its box office taking kept breaking records. The film had a celebration in Beijing with the presences of the Bona Film boss Yu dong, main casts Andy, Deanie Ip and Qin Hailu. They thanked the supports from the media, cinemas and audience. In the celebration, Andy as both investor and male lead was very excited, he expressed, “I always have confidence in ‘A Simple Life’ and audience are the same as ‘Tao Jie’ because they have been supporting me for so many years and I am touched by that.” He also thanked the crew and audience. At the same time, this is also a return for the persistent of Director Ann Hui and a booster for filmmakers of literary films.
