[Track]Mimic stage was built for rehearsing

16 consecutive performances of “Andy Lau Wonderful World concert 2007” will start on December 21 at Hong Kong Coliseum. Lately, Andy has been very busy with rehearing for the concert. Andy took almost all the available day of Hong Kong Coliseum for his concert because tickets supply was unable to meet the ticket demand. And this time Andy specially spent as much as 300,000 dollar to rent a huge warehouse where he built a mimic stage for the purpose of practicing.

This solo concert stage was designed by Andy in person and completed with the help of professional technician, the feature of the stage is so many apparatus and as many as 7 stage lifts which enable Andy to appears suddenly on the stage at short intervals and does acrobatics and performs magic, so Andy’s moving position must be very accurate and much practice is needed in advance. As soon as Andy arrived at the rehearsing place, he started practicing dancing with the guest dancer, Huang Rui who is called The Latin dance queen of China. She has danced Latin dance with Andy at concert in 2001, this time Andy asked her to help performing and the two are going to perform dance which is more difficult than Latin dance.

When they practice dancing, they did movement such as tumbling and standing on their hands, they danced until sweating all over. It is a really hard work. For the Hong Kong solo concert, Andy practices dancing for 6 hours and after that, he goes on to practice singing everyday. He goes out early and comes back late everyday. In addition to it, he needs to be on a diet, if his will is not strong enough, it will be very difficult to hold on. Many limited edition souvenirs will be sold in this solo concert.
