[Track]Two Superstars Collaborate in New Film
Media Asia Group held a press conference at the Hong Kong International Film & TV Market (FILMART) to introduce its new films in the year 2012. Media Asia chairman Peter Lam and plenty of artists and directors attended the event.
Andy will take part in both “Blind Detective” and “Dwelling in theFuchunMountains”. The silver classic couple Andy and Sammi will collaborate again in Johnnie To’s detective movie. Some shootings of the film were broadcast during the event. It is the first time that his character is blind, the experienced Andy expressed that it has some difficulties as “Being blind can’t wear sunglasses, when the director fell that my eyes looked like I am ableto seethings, the scene needs to be re-shoot again.” He also expressed that this collaboration is different from the previous times, he quipped, “In the past I’m responsible for fighting and she’s responsible for acting, but now I’m responsible for acting while she does the fighting.” Sammi replied that she was a follower of him in the film and so as in real life. She applied a script in the broadcasted shooting, “Idol is idol.” Andy still looks handsome despite of holding his eyeballs steady as blind in the trailer.
Other than “Blind Detective”, Andy would have another treasure hunting film – “Dwelling in theFuchunMountains” to meet audience at the end of the year. He will evolve between two pretties, Lin Chiling and Zhang Jingchu in the film and the shooting took place in five locations of four countries includingDubai. It is aHollywoodstyled production of Chinese and American directors. The gun battle of the trailer is just like Chinese 007 series.
