Long waiting for! The happiest moment in a year for sure is going to take picture with Andy, have a hug and a little chat with him. With the blessing of the Golden Horse Award, his “Dream comes True” and for us, we also feel grateful because of his success.
I was nervous and excited when watching the Golden Horse Film Festival and Awards. After the “happy ending” of A Simple Life – the biggest winner, we all knew that the gathering on the next day would be more meaningful as we could share the joy of Andy being the Best Leading Actor!
Ready to go north! There were lots of people in orange near the campus. When we met, we nod with each other because of the same hobby, the group identity. These make our family feels warm and united.
The Gathering started in screams with the new Best Leading Actor standing proudly in the blessings of his family! Only at this moment, our Big Bro could truly be himself and parade his happiness without hiding his elated and the missed thankful words in front of his family!
It was the time for hugging! My mind was occupied by thinking what pose I should have for this year photo. Since I have been collecting the photos with Andy every year, the clothing and pose should be different from the past. In addition, apart from being touched by his will to get close with us, I concerned him more as the duration of photo taking was quite long.
During the Q & A session, Andy was speechless when he came across a few questions. It is difficult to please everyone in an organization and being a super star, Andy, and AWC have already tried their best to plan and arrange in view of the majority. As a member of Taiwan region, it is a pity that we do not have enough chances to see our Big Bro but I believe most of our members are very considerate and understanding about this situation. Hoping members who still have doubts can be thoughtful after the bitter smile of Andy. Today’s Gathering ended with a little flaw because of this issue.
But how could we waste time and be distracted by the tiny stuff during family gathering? Andy dedicated to let us enjoy the precious of the event. We sang together with his conscientious arranged songs till the very last moment.
Though staying up late to watch the replay of the Golden Horse Award at the night before and with swollen eyes the next day, insomnia with unlimited excitement marked this journey worthiness!!! Loving Andy for more than a decade, however, whenever we join the AWC activities, we are all touched by the identity and the sense of belonging…
