Dream comes true party(Taipei)

After the party in Kaohsiung,  Andy especially flew to Taipei to hold the second “Dream comes true party” and to meet his fans!

We had anticipated seeing Andy for a long time and he walked the red carpet as he entered the venue, with the music of “Seventeen”.  Naturally we got high and screams echoed throughout the venue for nearly 10 minutes. He appeared in a white shirts, white jeans and white shoes like a Prince on a white horse!!

Firstly Andy let us know about his recent news and said that he was choosing songs for his Cantonese album which he was recently recording. However he had not yet received some lyrics and hoped to release it in summer holidays. He also mentioned that he would release a Mandarin album at the end of the year and additionally would play a role of a “Drug Dealer” in a film he’d to start shooting in July.

This party’s title was “Dream comes true!” So our most favorite photo-taking time couldn’t be missed! People made every effort to hold various poses when taking photos and some people were being silly taking photos similar to bridal photos! There were many little fans too. (The youngest was 3 months old!) But Andy patiently took photos, one by one, with these little fans. It was a dragon boat festival, so there was a special
“Glutinous Rice Dumplings Competition”. And several contestants made various Glutinous Rice Dumplings. Andy was to taste to choose the winner, but he resolutely dragged Joe to be a taster. Andy asked Joe after the tasting “Is it really edible?” which provoked laughter from the audience. Andy also said “It is all right for him to get food poisoning because he has insurance!” Andy looked very happy on stage! Then competition winners made Glutinous Rice Dumplings with Andy and he finished making a Glutinous Rice Dumplings in 3 minutes, which won a big applause. We all wondered why Andy could make Glutinous Rice Dumplings so he explained that in the past his family had had a shop so he had always helped his mother, to make Glutinous Rice Dumplings. He only knows how to make Hong Kong style and not Taiwanese style. He explained nowadays he seldom makes Glutinous Rice Dumplings, but whenever he makes them, he never puts in egg yolks because they are high in cholesterol.

The Q&A session time had come and Andy said that he would attend the “Jade Solid Gold” and even said cutely, “I will be the number one” Ha-ha! He also mentioned that a concert in Taiwan should be held, after the concert in Hong Kong next year. He also said that andylau.com would be revised around June or July! The rest of time we asked him questions, in a chit-chat style.

After that, we firstly sang “Jintian” which we dedicated to Andy to thank him for specially coming to Taiwan. Andy then sang many songs including “Zhang kai yanjing”, “Zai shuo yi ci wo ai ni”, “Tai xiang ai” and “Henxin de yi ke”. Lastly we sang “Ai ni yi wan nian” to see Andy off.

I really thank Andy for specially coming to Taiwan and giving us the best gift in the Dragon Boat Festival! I wish Andy good health, happiness and hope he will come to see us once in a while! We will support you forever!
