Plot
Set in the 1920s, Cheung Yat-pang (Andy Lau) whom recently returned from France to Nanjing after further studies and has been appointed by the government to be the first Commissioner of the opium trade ban. He accompanies his wife Susu (Cherie Chan )to Shanghai and is determined to outlaw illegal opium trade, fighting with drug lord Paul Tai (Damian Lau)and the corrupt evil forces…..
