Plot
CCN reporter Sun Chung-wah (Andy Lau ) who learns that he has a terminal blood disease. He decides he must cap his life with a big news scoop. He ventures off to Singapore to find Shun (Kenny Bee), a stockbroker who bankrupted his company through some bad speculation and who is the subject of a massive manhunt. Sun runs into the guy in a hotel restroom and soon he is Shun’s hostage. With the police in hot pursuit, Shun and Sun disappear into the jungle where the wanted stockbroker meets an unlikely, though gruesome, end. When Sun staggers back to civilization, he writes his article that makes him an international star. After days of being harried by his fellow reporters, Sun visits Chu (Theresa Lee ), a prostitute who is two months pregnant with Shun’s child….
