[Track]The 2008 Paralympic Ambassador

Andy was being assigned as the 2008 Paralympic ambassador by the committee of the Paralympic Games.  Born in the year of the ox, Andy was happy to see the 2008 Paralympic mascot, Xiao Fu Niu (little cow).  To support the Paralympic crew, the organizer arranged a visit to the headquarter of the committee for Andy once he arrived Beijing.  Andy met the vice-president Mr. Jiang afterwards.  Mr. Jiang showed his gratefulness for Andy’s sincerity to take the ambassador role.  He hoped that Andy can attract more volunteers for the games.  He invited Andy to attend the Olympic related activities in Beijing.  He presented the Olympic Games golden stamp set to Andy, while Andy gave him his latest album, ‘Voice’ in return.  Andy has been supporting the Hong Kong para athletes for over a decade.  Sponsorship to para athletes is always inadequate.  News report on the good performance of para athletes can be rarely seen.  Andy wished to let the public know their efforts while taking the role of paralympic ambassador. 

Andy accepted the invitation of being the paralympic ambassador without hesitation.  The voluntary recruitment has been started.  Andy encouraged his fans to contribute to the games.  As the ambassador of the games, Andy presented the song ‘今天’ at the Great Wall to the para athletes.  The screen displayed the video clips of Andy supporting para athletes throughout the years.  The song was very touching making the Great Wall full of hurray.
