[Track]Andy Attended the Premier of to Support the Movie
To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China establishment, the premier of the movie, The Founding of a Republic, was held in Hong Kong. The movie was acted by over a hundred of superstars from China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. The Chief Executive of Hong Kong, Mr. Donald Tsang, director Han Sanping and Huang Jianxin, actors Andy Lau, Tang Guoqiang and Zhang Guoli were participated in the event. Andy dressed up in a set of gray Zhongshan suit to attend the event. Nearly a hundred of fans were waiting outside to support the movie. Some of them were from Chongqing and Chengdu. The organizer borrowed the wax figures of Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai and Deng Xiaoping from the Madame Tussauds. Guests including Andy took photos with the figures.
The movie will be released next Thursday (the National Day). It has been released in the mainland China last week. The box office has accumulated over ten million in just 3 days. The 2-hour story recorded the Sino-Japanese War, Civil War, the cooperation between the Communist Party and the Nationalist Party, and the establishment of the People’s Republic of China. Over a hundred of superstars were participated in the movie. Each of them played a role and appeared for 2 to 3 minutes in the movie. The entire storyline was very fluent.
