Andy’s Birthday 2007
Our passion plus very hot weather really match the theme of the birthday party, “Xing guang re bao Andy Night” … (literal: Starlight. feverish. Andy Night)
The organizer arranged many tour buses to shuttle us to and from the venue because the party was held at Flower & Food in Clear Water Bay this year. Even though there were many participants, people got into the bus in good order, so we could reach the venue in a moment.
There were two parts in this event. The first part was a barbecue Party. It was a grand view with more than one thousands participants. People were having pleasant chat while barbecued. The atmosphere was very lively. Although plenty of food was provided, it was not as attractive as products of Andy and his child [Andox]～Have you heard Andox calling “Take me home now. Please”? Ha-ha!! T-shirt, towel, recycle bag, necklace, Monthly Calender and so on. There were various products there. I believe that you all could buy a lot of products too!
The second part was the main event, birthday party, a big stage was built by the organizer in the empty space next to the barbecue place. When we attend open air party, what we most worry about is the weather. The weather in these days were uncertain, a thick fog sometimes laid and it sometimes rained, but thanks to God, there was no need to use the rain coat that organizer prepared for us with consideration.
The birthday man “Andy” showed up in a jeep, the party was officially started as Andy waved to us, although “the main guest”, Andy, must be very tired because of the long trip that he hurriedly returned from Changshu for the party, he was still in high spirits and being absorbed in watching performances. The first performance was a very rhythmic Hip Hop Dance performed by Rhythm Attack. And then a cappella Mix of “Ngoh dak neih”, chorus by a group of six. Their performance with sophisticated technique gained applause of audience. Andy also danced with joy and cheers for the performers. And then light stick dance by our Andy World Club Performing Arts Team was performed. Team members dance and move the light stick in their hands following the rhythm and beautiful pictures were appeared. It was really wonderful!〈I believe that they worked very hard! Thanks to Performing Arts Team… As a member, I am proud of them〉Andy even said that “ Hope to see the beautiful pictures again in the concert!”, why don’t we learn these techniques from Performing Arts Team!
After that, we played a Passing Cards Game titled “We Love Andy Lau”, after a fierce battle and lucky draw with many prizes, it is Andy’s solo time. A series of Andy’s songs aroused the atmosphere of birthday party to enthusiasm. We can consider this party as a rehearsal of the year-end concert! How can we celebrate birthday party without a cake? After Andy’s solo time, a cake was brought to the stage by staff, champagne was opened, we sang birthday song, and group photos were taken. At the end of the party, a video “Singing voice for birthday celebration” which was filmed with many ideas of many members was played on a big screen, it was a very touching moment. The birthday party ends in cheers! I believe that the next party must be at Hong Kong Colosseum !!! Everybody. See you all again in Colosseum in December~~~~
