It is believed that Member’s Birthday Party is one of the most awaited-event of each year. I was born in June, and once the official website announced that the 2nd Quarter Birthday Party would be held in the Academic Community Hall of Baptist University, I immediately completed the reply slip for enrollment.
When arriving at the Baptist University, I found the reception, set up in front of the Academic Community Hall, was equipped with a faultless computer system to enable quick admission after scanning our membership cards. During admission, all AWC staff were energetic to carry out their duties, even they had to leave late for cleaning up the site of the Anniversary Party which was held the night before. They are so amazing and should be proud of!!! Because of their hard work, we can enjoy every activity of AWC. Please allow me to say “Thank you” to them sincerely here.
There were more than a thousand members joining the Birthday Party! Every one of us cheered for Andy when he walked on stage with a funny expression. Before the photo-taking part, he told us in a ‘kawaii’ way that we could stand either side, left or right, to show our prettier side of faces. Having the opportunity to have a close look at Andy is a joyful thing although we needed to wait for a long time. In fact, from my observation, Andy really loves children – every time he will cuddle them to take pictures, this gives me a fatherly feeling of him. Besides, we found it was quite interesting while a few very small kids were trying to escape from his arm during photo-taking. At last it was my turn to have a picture with Andy after waiting for almost two hours. When I walked to his side, he wished me “Happy Birthday!” gently which brightened up my day.
Andy has spent almost two and a half hours to finish photographing with thousand more members, however, he was still wearing a warm and kind smile. This shown he cherishes every one of us from his deep heart. Though Q & A session began follow by, Andy did not show any tiredness! He is a REAL triathlete who is admirable!
There always will be a satisfy feeling after participating AWC activities each time. It seems like adding one more valuable and wonderful memory between Andy and me. So as to record that moment, I hope to get the picture taken with Andy as soon as I possible.
