As the investor, producer and the main lead of FIRESTORM, Andy together with another investor and producer, William Kong, Director Alan Yuen, Yao Chen and Gordon Lam Ka-Tung attended the film celebration dinner held in Beijing. The box office of the first day and the first week were released which reached RMB 171 million. FIRESTORM was the first Chinese police-thriller movie that got the highest box office on the first day and in the first week after screening. In addition, it is the movie that promptly reached over RMB 100 million box office in history. On the 6th day, the box office climbed to RMB 200 million and over RMB 250 million within 10 days. Apart from this four good news, the MC named the movie “The Four Biggest Masterpiece” which is the most appreciated and the coolest with four elements – High, Fast, Valued and Cool.
To celebrate the new records and to anticipate for further good box office, the group crashed the “250,000,000” digit ice-sculpture. Alan Yuen joyfully hoped the ‘storm’ can blow through the Christmas and into the next year.
