Although it’s been raining, it didn’t spoiled our day. We celebrated Box’s Make-up Birthday Party. The venue had been decorated beautifully. As this was a make-up party, some of the members had already dressed up to match the theme of the Party. There was also a make-up area to assist members. All of us dressed in an image of our favourite animal, such as rabbit, leopard, koala, hippo, giraffe, bear etc. We could also found these images among the lovely children : 2 sisters were in the image of Stitch, wearing bear-shape gloves; a baby penguin, a roaring tiger … how cute they were !
As soon as we were divided into 2 groups, namely the white group and the black group, for a game, we admitted to the venue. Not long afterwards, as Box appearing himself on stage, we were so excited. Then there came Andox who were pushing a cart with a chocolate cake on, to celebrate Box’s 3-year old birthday.
AWC specially invited Ms. Christine Auyang as our judicator and her sons dressed in the image of tiger and dinosaur. As soon as Christine demonstrated cat walk, members from each group competed with each other for cat walk. We finally voted for our favourite winner, Beatle. Other winners include the lovely image, Baby Penguin, while the best mix & match are the 4 leopards and zebra.
The 2 groups carried on to compete in a series of game including imitate animal sound and imitate animal walk. At last, the White group was the winner of the day and each member received a souvenir. Box shook his head for losing all games. Afterwards, there came the performance of Box and Andox. The sang mammy Andy’s song “The Happy Monkey” but with new lyrics which specially produced for this party. It was such a good performance that we were all excited and sang along.
The last session was photo-taking with Box. We were very relaxed and had a happy party.
Thanks to all workforce, the make-up consultants and photographer, for organizing the party which was a success. It was also an unforgettable party. Finally, wish Box a very Happy Birthday.
