After celebrating AWC Anniversary in June every year, Andy’s Birthday Party in September is that we look forward to afterwards. There is no exception for this year also.
At the beginning of the Birthday Party, Maria Luisa Leitao De., the MC, invited the world most famous and “The Best Actor” – Andy to be on-stage. He, who was dressed in suit as charm as usual, presented awards of Chinese Calligraphy Competition and scholarships of out-standing academic results to members. Since there were MC, Maria and the best actor, Andy, a live <Telling Maria> was on-air. The interview created continuous screams, laughter and applauses by fans.
As “ALways Andy Lau China Concert Tour” would be commence soon in the Mainland, the theme of the Party was inseparable from《珍愛舞台》. The gorgeous stage-decoration and ever-changing lighting effects allowed the stage looked extraordinarily grand. To match with the theme, Andy passed on his dancing skills in concerts to members of the performing group. They re-acted the Latin dance of 2001 Concert, Tap dance of 2004 Concert and the acrobatic gymnastics and “Chest Cracks Stone” of Five Tiger Generals of TVB in 《1983年星光熠熠勁爭輝》. Those familiar scenes were once again presented in front of everyone. The high standard performances and serious attitude of each performer are the same as Andy’s pursuits for perfection. Their hard-workings were affirmed by thunderous applauses from the audience.
Three members from the Mainland even imitated Andy by singing《忘情水》,《冰雨》and《珍愛舞臺》respectively. One of them specifically gave him the fruit from his hometown as birthday gift. Although they are not as handsome as Andy, their voices, dances and little gestures were quite similar to him, which mixed the spurious with the genuine. Then Andy and three imitators sang 《謝謝你的愛》together.
The grand finale was the rehearsal of “ALways Andy Lau China Concert Tour”, all audiences stood up waving their glowsticks in an ecstasy of concert. Andy sang a series of songs like 《峰回路轉》,《暗里著迷》,《笨小孩》,《開心的馬騮》,《我恨我癡心》,《17歲》and《你是我一生中最大的驕傲》 pushing the Party’s atmosphere to the highest with cheers, applause and screams one after another. During the encore rehearsal, he presented 《愛你一萬年》. It is believed that our love to Andy is far more than ten thousand years!
