Malaysian members’ dream came true to meet Andy on 26 July! Although there was no flickering-light stage and no showy ostentation, there was a feeling of warmth when I entered the ballroom in which there were only a simple small stage and round tables. AWC staff was very thoughtful that light refreshment was arranged for us to enjoy while waiting for Andy’s presence.
The MC invited Andy to enter from the back-stage at around 3 pm. The cheering sounds filled up every corner of the ballroom until he stood on the stage. He, firstly, said hello to us, then followed by drawing out two table-prizes. 2 lucky winners of each table received a set of Andy’s concert photos that made us green with envy!
Most surprising to me was Andy came down from the stage and took a seat to chat with us with no distance table by table. He shared the delights of being a new fatherhood and talked about the funny things of taking care his little daughter during the chatting. All these made us laugh heartily. His frankness is our honor. Though Andy did not spend much time here, a joyful and memerable afternoon sufficed members of Malaysia already!
I wish Andy and his family healthy and happy! We’ll love you for a million years. I also wish friends and family members of AWC having their dreams come true in the future!
