Today’s weather was as good as our mood, it is because the Dream Comes True Gathering has finally arrived Taiwan! We are very anxious as Andy has finally come to meet us. We are also excited because all the members and friends gather again.
When Andy entered the venue, the applauses and cheering shook the place like watching a mini concert. Followed by three different games, the first one was to pick a few members to go on stage and carry the balloons back-to-back. The team that had carried the most balloons would be the winner. During the game Andy reminded members to be careful and not to trip over. After the game, Andy brought out a Magic Ring and asked if everyone had already known the trick. He also jokingly said, “Here are 800 people who don’t know this trick. After this event we shall sell 800 Magic Rings to them for learning the trick at home!” The hall was full of laughter. Andy then picked a lucky member to go on stage and performed the trick. Andy patiently taught the member over and over, and finally that member really became a magician and did the trick! Then it was the surprise prizes which attached to the bottom of our chairs. Watching members searching all over the chairs was definitely interesting.
Then there were Q&A and Karaoke session. The Q&A session was like a wishing well, everyone wishes he is the one coin that make wishes come true, which is to have a chance to speak to Andy. Lucky members were drawn to sing with Andy during the Karaoke session. They sang「暗裡著迷」,「笨小孩」, and「世界第一等」. The first song was「暗裡著迷」. Members were too shy to sing a Cantonese song and Andy jokingly said that he really didn’t know if it was him or them singing the song.
Finally Andy sang three songs:「真心」,「練習」, and「愛的連線」. He talked about the lyrics of the song「真心」, saying that “These lyrics are very appropriate…Really!” I think all of us felt his 「真心」(True heart) from the expression on his face and his attitude….
Andy explained to us that due to venue limitations, the event had to end soon. He knew we did not want to end just yet, some members suggested doing the rubber band magic trick, and Andy agreed! He showed us the tricks, and saw our admiring eyes with surprising looks. He then patiently taught us the trick step by step even the event was rushing to end.
I suddenly felt that this, this is present! These rubber bands did not bring us magic; they brought us Andy’s true heart. We do not care about the time length, the distance. Words may not describe perfectly what he is trying to tell us, but this right now, is all we want.
Next time, we will make you hear our – True Heart!!
