26 January 2016 is the big day of Dream Comes True (Overseas) Gathering – USA.  The last gathering was a decade ago.  We have been waited so long for this day to come.

The gathering was scheduled to be held at 7:00 pm.  Andy arrived 30 minutes early, and when he walked in the front door, members gave him warm rounds of applauses. Heartwarming Andy started greeting everyone. When the time of chatting corner came, everyone seemed a bit nervous and shy to ask questions as Andy was so close and right in front. Andy’s friendly smiles and the sharing of his recent status broke the ice; we all started to ask him questions. Andy answered all of our questions, including the joy watching little Hanna growing up. We were all so glad to hear the happiness among his family.

After that came the most excited photo-taking corner which all of us have been waited for so long.  Everyone knew the photo-taking corner have been cancelled for some time, thank AWC for giving us an exception and arranged this corner so that we could take photo with Andy one by one.  We could not hide our excitement. Time flies even faster with Andy around, two hours have passed with a blink of an eye.  Though the staff announced that it was time for Andy to leave, Andy spent 15 more minutes and hugged each one of us.  We waved him goodbye and went home with happiness.

It was like a dream when a super star actually came close and talked to you.  It was also because of this gathering, all of us from different places could join again together.  We were glad that we could help at the event this time, and felt that it is not easy to hold an event.

Thank you for all the things AWC has done for us all these years, and we look forward to the next gathering.
