The 22nd May must be a good day, since the weather was fantastic, and the rain showers that the weather forecast mentioned did not arrive. It was a great day for today’s family gathering.
The admission started at 12:00pm, members had approximately an hour of free time in the venue. We took photos, chit chat, collect the event stamp, and created a picture with post-its with all our blessings written on them for Andy as a Father’s Day present. The host announced the beginning of the event around 1:00pm. Staffs apportioned food to every table, and we started putting food on the grill. As we were focused on the food, the host suddenly announced, “How do you call this event fantastic without our most important Andy?” Then a super handsome figure showed up from the stairs. It’s our long awaited Andy! Everyone went insanely excited. The applauses, the cheering, and screaming boosted up the atmosphere. Andy wore a denim outfit, and we were so concerned about him being steamed in this hot weather. “I am just going to take some photos wearing this, do I look good?” Andy jokingly said, then did some extremely handsome posing for photos, led to a round of cheering.
After that, Andy greeted us, and told us about his filming, song recordings, and the planning of next year’s concert. He said that he answered those common questions on stage beforehand, so that we could talk about different topics when he came to the tables. Andy is such a warmhearted man. He loves to chat about topics other than his work with us.
Then, Andy came close to each member and talked about almost everything! Andy answered each of our questions with his great sense of humor. Staff prepared varieties of food and also vegetarian food for us, allowing us to enjoy delicious barbeque food while chatting with Andy.
After the chit chat, Andy took a brief rest, got changed and came back on stage. Andy and Jacky have prepared three songs to share with us. The first song was the classic love song “分分鐘需要你”. The second song was the new song “原諒我”. Andy said that he was so nervous to perform the song first time in live, but we think it was a perfect performance. The third song was “愛永遠存在”, and Andy asked members to sing along with him. He jokingly said he would sing the chorus since it is easier. Our “collaboration” came out great! There was a happening that Andy laughed himself onto the floor like a child.
Jacky handed the stage over to Andy when all the performances finished. Andy summarized the most asked questions on stage, and said that all of us are close friends and we could ask any questions, he would love to answer them.
The event ended in laughter and we look forward to the next gathering. The rain shower did not come today, but having barbeque under the burning sun was quite harsh. Nonetheless, the weather did not affect us; the high temperature even raised our passion. Special thanks to Andy and all staffs who gave us services despite the hot weather. Thank you for everything!
