[Track]Press Conference of Shaolin in Beijing
Shaolin, which was directed by Benny Chan, held its premiere inBeijing. This is the third collaboration with Fan Bingbing who acts as Andy’s wife in the film, but it is the first time of “husband & wife”.
Fan praised Andy’s performance in the press conference, “Andy tears even faster than me. I feel ashamed at this point as an actress, I lose to an actor.” But Andy quipped, “Tears flow out naturally and I don’t know how to let them flow upward.” At the same time, Fan also complimented his devotion to work and addressed him as ‘model of hard-working’. “Andy is the role model that cannot be exceeded.” Andy also praised Fan’s sweet and consideration, “Although she is being Fan Yen, she is very famine and sweet while being with me.”
Andy, as a Buddhist follower, felt grateful to be part of Shaolin and claimed that there is a connection with Buddhist because he could have a deeper understanding about the spirit of Shaolin and the teachings of Buddhist. “I am interested in Buddhism and being a follower of it. I practice 7-Stars Fists in the film, which is for self protection and seldom strike on people. Actually Shaolin kung fu is part of the enlightenment and we are glad that the film can present these thoughts.” He said he felt lesser grievance but more peace after the shooting of this film.
