[Track]Applause & Screaming shook the concert
Andy Lau Unforgettable Concert World Tour was held in Shanghai Stadium. Close to 80,000 enthusiastic fans handicapped the traffic and the brisk business for the restaurants nearby as there were long queues. The big winner of “The Gallants”, Gordon Lam Ka Tung, in the recent Hong Kong Film Awards particularly flew toShanghaito show his support.
The crowed started to appear around 3 pm that day, close to tens thousand of audience lining up around the stadium. The concert officially kicked off around 745 pm, thunderous applause were full the house and everyone took out their mobiles or cameras to take pictures. Andy belted out 《孤星淚》、《天意》、《謝謝你的愛》, he couldn’t help but said, “Please put down your phones, everybody is using their phones and no one is applauding? An artist needs applause.” After that, thunderous applause and screams sounded.
During the interaction with the audience, mischievous Andy shouted, “Lau Tak Wah”. Close to 80,000 fans accommodating by replying “I Love You.” Fans kept screaming “Andy Lau, I love You” throughout the two and a half hours concert and he quipped, “Please don’t be like this and spoiled the artist. You will spoil the artist…” the fans immediately replied, “I am willing to.” and continued screaming “Andy Lau, I love you.” Then Andy said, “I love the way you are.” He joked again and asked, “Am I really so good?” With out any hesitation, fans replied, “You are the best.” He had no choice but said, “I can’t handle all of you.” The enthusiastic and continue support for the past 30 years touched Andy as he could not hold back his tears during the encore and so as the fans.
