Members Birthday Party Jul-Sep ’07

Activity：July, August, September The 3rd quarter members birthday party

Place：Andy World Club Hong Kong head office

The 3rd quarter birthday party was held at Andy World Club on November 11. Number tags were distributed from 10 am and the birthday party started at 12:30 noon. After I entered the club, I found that Andy’s “China Concert tour” related products were on sale. People were scrambling to buy the products.

Birthday party started at 12:30 as scheduled. The MC, Venus appeared and everybody knew that Andy would appear soon. So cheers went up! : “Andy Andy …” As the curtain was raised slowly, Andy appeared with a cake made of Sauhbaau (Long-life steamed bun). Andy was in horizontal gray and black stripes t-shirt, black trousers and white trainers. He was so vigorous and very handsome.

The party started with a warm-up game. People reached out their hands searching for a green tea bag under their chairs, and 6 lucky members were got into final. Two little girls were among them. Another game was called “ Red and Green flags”. Members with a red flag in the left hand and green flag in the right hand. When Andy commanded“Red, Green, Red, Green, Red, Red, Green…”, members must follow his instruction to wave their flags. Finally, a lady won the game.

When it came to Karaoke time, 3 songs, “ chihng gam dek gam keui ”,“ Ngam leuih jeuk maih ”and “ Yuh gwuo yauh yat tin”were slected. Each song, 3 members were selected to sing on stage. MC asked Andy which song they should sing first. Andy cracked one joke after another. Firstly he said “It does not matter!”and then he continued. “ ‘Yuh gwuo yauh yat tin’means the day has not come yet and also it would not be so fast to be ‘Jeuk maih’ (fascinated) ‘Ngam leuih’ (in a dark place) ? How could it reach ‘Chihng gam dek gam keui’ (a forbidden zone of emotions) so fast? Well let’s sing ‘Chihng gam dek gam keui’ first.” There was a little boy among 3 members. The boy was accompanied by his mother. But when it came to singing, he became very shy and hid behind his mom. The 2nd song was “Ngam leuih jeuk maih”, this time the singing group were 2 men and 1 woman. Andy asked them why they liked the song because men usually liked it more, then the guy replied ,“ It is because I am a man! ” Lastly, a Taiwanese members joined to sing “Yuh gwuo yauh yat tin”.

And then it is Q&A session. The first question was about concert ticket matter. When Andy reply the question, there were tears in his eyes. It was because his heart ached when he heard some people saying that it was Andy World Club’s fault. After several questions, it was time to take photo with Andy. People posed differently for photos. The birthday party ended in cheers. Everybody. See you next year!
