[Track]Andy and Bingbing Wished for the Success of < Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame>
<Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame> is the only Mandarin movie being selected for the Venice Film Festival this year. A press con was held at 5pm (Venice Time), while premier was held at night. Director Hark Tsui arrived Venice to attend the event with Andy Lau, Carina Lau, Li Bingbing and Deng Chao.
Everyone was energetic without any jet lag symptom. When Andy saw the huge bottle of Sicily red wine, he was so funny to stand near the waiter and observe how he open the bottle. He even pretended to drink the entire bottle of wine. Li Bingbing dressed up in an elegant black suit. They wished for the success of the premier. They were also looking forward to watching the whole movie for the first time.
The premier of <Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame> got positive comment from the media. It further enhanced the awareness of the movie. A French media stated that it is one of the best three Mandarin movies ever. The premier was started at 9 in the morning. Nearly 90% seats were filled up. Audiences gave a big applause to after watching the whole movie.
