[Track]Andy writes the lyrics of his new song <母親> to celebrate the 60th anniversary of PRC’s establishment
Andy visited Beijing to shoot the MV of his new song <母親> . The song was jointly written by Andy, Ronald Ng, Preston Lee and Chan Tak Kin to celebrate the 60th anniversary of PRC’s establishment. The gentle and tough style of the song is similar to a mother’s strength on feeding and protecting her child. <母親> is another song presented by Andy to China after <中國人>. Andy has visited different cities of China and experienced the development and prosperity in recent years. During the shooting of the MV, the well-known director of CCTV, Yang Dongsheng, prepared a set of Zhongshan suit and a white long Chinese gown for Andy to emphasize his handsome look. When director Yang listened to the song, he stated, ‘It is a meaningful pop song which can be picturized easily.’
During the discussion of the shooting background, director Yang mentioned that <中國人> used the Great Wall as the background. He decided to use Huang He and Chang Jiang this time. Everyone was shocked by his proposal. Director Yang explained that he was planning to make the artificial background. Sandpile in different height were made in the studio. Pictures of Chang Jiang and Huang He were being projected on the wall. Actors and actresses played dragon dance behind Andy. Another background is a Chinese style study room. Andy was holding a roll of Chinese book in the MV. After the shooting, Andy wrote <母親> with his writing brush once he backed to the hotel. The calligraphy work will be used for shooting as well.
