[Track]Andy Described Himself as the Biggest Guest Performer
The movie which got several overseas awards and eight nominations of the HK Film Awards, ‘A Simple Life’ had a promotion event in Beijing. The director, Ann Hui, Andy Lau and Deanie Yip were participated in the event with Roger Lee.
Being asked if Ann preferred producing simply story about daily lives, she said, ‘people in different places like to see themselves on the movie screen. This is my own wish as well. Therefore, I love producing movie which is related to my life. Surprisingly, we could successfully get the support from the investor and actors. We even won a big award in Venice. The production process of this movie is just like a fairytale. We are happy to see audiences’ support to the movie.’ Apart from the touching storyline, another highlight of the movie is the guest performers including Anthony Perry, Chapman To, Hark Tsui, Sammo Hung, Yu Dong, Ning Hao, Raymond Chow, John Shum, Andrew Lau, Joe Cheung and Gordon Lam. Andy said that he was the biggest guest performer of the movie. As the producer, Andy encouraged everyone to watch the movie in the cinema with their families.
